š¹ A cat and mouse showdown
This weekās epic point is a classic cat-and-mouse showdown at the kitchen.
The older, perhaps more experienced player, lures his opponent in before finishing things off with a perfectly timed shot.
Proof that experience still wins points.

š¤ Another day, another pickleball ban
In a move thatās becoming all too familiar, the city of Maple Grove, MN, has banned pickleball at Lakeview Knolls Park after, you guessed it, noise complaints from nearby residents.
Hereās whatās different this time: the ban isnāt temporary. Thereās no timeline to bring courts backāand no clear plan for where players are supposed to go instead.
Meanwhile, the court sits unused, despite being one of the most popular in the area.
Players, the majority of whom are neighbours of the park, say theyāre blindsided and frustrated. The city says itās working on a solution. In the meantime, the pickleball pop has been silenced.
Now, we get itāpickleball noise can be real. But banning courts without a plan to replace them isnāt a solution.
Pickleballās here to stay, so we need smarter ways to share spaceānot keep locking the gates.

š¤ Dua Lipa canāt stop playing pickleball
In a recent behind-the-scenes post, Barstool revealed that the pop star is hooked on the sport while on tour.
From backstage to the tour bus, pickleball is apparently the go-to way to unwind.
āŖļø Faith, fellowship⦠and pickleball
From North Carolina to California, churches are adding pickleball courts to bring people together and keep them coming back.
Some are calling it āthe new stained glass,ā as congregations use the sport to attract younger families and revive social lives.
š» From college side hustle to custom paddle king
Griffin Toren got into pickleball at 17, and quickly saw a gap in the market.
Now 22, his brand Killa Dinks is turning heads with bold, custom-designed paddles for the likes of Hard Rock, Poppi, Chick-fil-A, and even OnlyFans.
