A clean, balanced hydration/energy drink without the jitters

Stephen with 5 Point Zero

Hey Pickleheads readers šŸ‘‹,

Stephen here! I just wanted to hop in real quick to give a shout out to 5 Point Zero PERFORM.

Iā€™m often playing at 6am on just 4-6 hours of sleep, and PERFORM gives me the energy I need without the jitters I used to get from my cocktail of pre-workout and electrolytes.

The best bit? When I'm on-court I feel sharper, more awake and ready to compete.

Itā€™s not sugary. And itā€™s definitely not too salty. Iā€™d say PERFORM is just light and refreshing.

Iā€™ve been blending these for over a month now and Iā€™m not even bored of the taste. Plus, it mixes perfectly in a shaker without that chalky texture found in most powdered drinks.

If youā€™re looking for clean, balanced energy that battles fatigue, prevents cramping, keeps you hydrated and more focused on court, give 5 Point Zero PERFORM a try.

This $15 OFF offer is exclusive to Pickleheads newsletter readers and will be calculated at checkout (it does not display on the PERFORM web page).

Their new Apple Fitness+ lineup includes pickleball workouts designed to help us dink better, smash harder, and recover smarterā€¦how cool is this?

Launched on January 6, the new Strength, Endurance, and Agility for Pickleball program is guided by none other than Catherine Parenteau, a former world #1 in singles and doubles.

You could be a seasoned player or just starting out, either way, this is a pretty cool, new way to level up your game.

šŸ˜¬ Pickleball star & tour exec exchange war of words

The professional pickleball wars of 2023, thought to be put to rest with last yearā€™s merger of the two leading circuits, reared its head again!

On one side is pro pickleball player Jillian Braverman, who led a short-lived effort to block the merger of the MLP and PPA, now called the UPA.

šŸŽ¾ The sportā€™s biggest crossover yet is officially underway!

Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, and Genie Bouchard have already made the jump to pickleball and the 2024 Pickleball Slam Tourā€¦

Spin, speed, style: Meet the Invader

Bread and Butter Invader image

Hey, Pickleheads readers, Stephen here. šŸ‘‹

If youā€™re an intermediate or advanced player looking to take your game up a notch, I wanted to hop in here real quick to tell you about the Bread and Butter Invader.

This paddle is all about spin, speed, and styleā€”perfect for aggressive players who love to dominate at the kitchen line.

The Invaderā€™s standout feature is its spin, easily on par with top-tier paddles. From wickedly dipping drives to sharp, spin-loaded drops, the Invader keeps your opponents guessing.

Itā€™s also lightning-quick at the net, making it ideal for hand battles and those fast-paced exchanges. Plus, the titanium-infused face doesnā€™t just enhance performanceā€”it looks incredible, with a sleek design that turns heads.

That said, power players and beginners might want to think twice. The Invader thrives in finesse and spin but can feel a little underpowered from the baseline.

It also takes a bit of getting used to, so donā€™t expect to master it straight out of the box.

Bottom line? If you love playing an aggressive, spin-heavy game, the Invader is worth every penny. Just be ready to invest some time into unlocking its full potential.

If the Bread and Butter Invader sounds like your thing, you can get 15% off with the code PICKLEHEADS15, which I know is the best discount out there.
