Easily the most fun Iāve had playing pickleballā¦
Last month we rented a huge AirBnb in Scottsdale, AZ with 3 courts and ran a round-robin on Pickleheads.
It was a blast! We invited some of the top players in town and ran a āgauntletā format.
This is a super fun format where if you win, you get harder opponents. Lose, and the games get easier.

Hey Pickleheads Readers,
Today, Iām going to talk you through how to hit a harder serve!
First off, some of you like a big backswing on a serve and some of us, like me, like to go from low to high with a smaller backswingā¦
I think either is fine. The most important thing though is your weight transfer!
So, to hit a harder serve, you need to concentrate on weight transfer.
To set this up, step back before you serve the ball.
Then, transfer your weight to your front foot and towards your target when you make contact with the ball.
Use all of your momentum from this motion to get as much power as you can on your serve.
Next time youāre serving, focus on transferring weight from your back foot to your front and youāll be hitting the ball harder than everā¦
ā¦leaving your opponents on edge each time you step up to the baseline!
