š„ Mari Humbergās new paddle hits different

People are buzzing about the new Adidas paddles and the pros are taking note.
Last week, I caught up with Mari Humbergāone of the rising stars in pro pickleballāto get her take on the new lineup.
Mariās paddle of choice? The Metalbone LP Team. Built with a unique EVA foam core, itās designed to deliver serious pop without giving up control.
At first, Mari says the power caught her off guard (āthe ball was just flyingā), but after a few days of swinging through the ball, she felt locked in and ready to counter even the fastest attacks in mixed doubles.

Mari even said, "As a woman, I canāt generate the pop the guys can, but now I can counter with power."
Sheās also loving the Spin Blade MAX surface, which lets her generate crazy amounts of spin and power at the same time. A combo you donāt see often.
Mariās still testing the limits of what this paddle can do⦠and loving it.
With the LP Team, she says itās clear: Adidas is not to be underestimated. Theyāre not just stepping into the gameātheyāre stepping it up.

š± Still no pickleball emoji? Seriously, Apple?
At this point, it feels personal.
Despite pickleball being the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. for the third year runningāwith over 13.6 million players and countingāthereās still no pickleball emoji.
Meanwhile, sports like cricket, lacrosse, and even curling have their own little icons.
A new article from TeachMe.To highlights the growing frustration, pointing out that emoji creation isnāt randomā¦
Thereās a whole process (yep, thereās an actual Unicode Emoji Subcommittee), and people have already submitted proposals to get pickleball onto our keyboards.
Even Google Trends shows that searches for "pickleball" have been 19x higher than "paddle tennis" and 51x higher than "squash" over the past year. And yet... still no paddle and ball emoji.
My take? Pickleballās not just a trendāitās a movement. Itās time our keyboards caught up, right?
