Okay, I’ll be honest…

I’ve been sent a lot of pickleball apparel. But most of it just hangs in my closet.

Not the right fit. Too sweaty. Doesn’t hold up in play.

The backhand dink is a must-have skill in order to gain confidence at the kitchen line.

I broke it down into three simple, easy to follow steps to have you looking like a new player!

#1 Align your feet to your opponent

#2 Prepare early – no extra movement, have your paddle down and ready as the ball approaches.

#3 Linear swing - Keep everything compact and in control. Don’t let your follow-through carry outward.

The paddle to replace the JOOLA Gen 3?

Anyone else bummed the JOOLA Gen 3 paddles got banned?

I was. Love it or hate it… it was a fun paddle to play with.

Sooo I’ve been on the hunt for an alternative to the JOOLA Gen 3’s and I think I found one…

The Paddletek Bantam TKO-C.

They don’t hit as hard as the JOOLA’s did but they still hit like a rocket.

I remember one overhead I hit last week that about went into outer space.

And they give you much better all-court performance. They’re more forgiving and you can actually reset the ball which was hard with the JOOLA’s.

These paddles were designed for top pro Christian Alshon and they are BY FAR the best paddles Paddletek has ever made.

Bonus points for being made in the USA and not subject to the quality issues we’ve seen with other Gen 3 paddles.

The Bantam TKO-C’s are hot right now and I recommend them if you’re a rising intermediate who likes to play an aggressive, all-around game.
