New on Pickleheads - simulate round robins, find DUPR players, see who dropped out and more!

It's Max, one of the founders here at Pickleheads.

Today, we released a new version of the website and mobile app that features a new tool for simulating any round robin format. Plus, you can now find DUPR-rated players to invite to your sessions, see who dropped out and more!

🤖 Try every format with our new round robin simulator

We offer 6 amazing round robin formats. Now, you can preview them all with our new Round Robin Simulator!

Add any number of courts and players, simulate matchups and watch the standings update right on your screen.

When you’re ready, create your own round robin and start inviting players. It’s completely free!

🔎 Find DUPR-rated players to invite to your game

We’ve added several new filters to the Invite Players screen, including the ability to hone in on DUPR-rated players.

This is the perfect way to fill your game with players at the right skill level.

🤯 See who dropped out of your game

It’s always a bummer when someone bails on your game at the last minute, leaving you short a player or two.

Everyone can now see who dropped out of a session and when. It adds some extra accountability for flaky players!

📣 Quickly add a name to the list

It’s now easier than ever to add a name to the confirmed player list—no email or phone number required!

This can also be handy if you are on court running a round robin and need to quickly get a player added to the draw.

🛠️ Tons of other fixes and improvements

We’ve also made several other updates, including:

• Enhanced privacy for private sessions and groups

• Improvements to Android push notifications

• A revamped login/sign-up process on the website

• Various bug fixes and other enhancements

What’s up next?

We’re working as hard as we can to launch these features by the end of the year:

• Lists - Create lists of players you like to play with for easy invites.

• Collecting payments - Seamlessly collect payments for sessions. Users won’t be able to join until they’ve paid.

• Fixed partner round robins - Run fixed partner formats within our round robin tool.
