🏓 Rage quit, but make it pickleball

Did you see it? Things got heated at last week’s PPA Humana Championship when 20-year-old rising star Zane Ford had a full-blown meltdown after losing in straight sets.

Down 11–1 and 11–4 to James Ignatowich, Ford tried to take it out on his paddle—first smashing it on his knee, then slamming it into the court. Only problem? The paddle wouldn’t break.

The moment—caught on video—has already gone viral, not just for the outburst, but for the paddle's hilarious durability.

Ford is ranked #14 in singles, while Ignatowich came into the match ranked #65, making the upset sting a little more. You can even see Ignatowich smirking as he walks off the court.

😲 Staksrud announces end of partnership with adidas

It’s been just over five months since Federico Staksrud, the current world #1, and adidas Pickleball announced their landmark partnership, but the two parties are already going their separate ways.

😍 Wyoming’s first-ever wheelchair pickleball tournament

Last weekend in Wyoming, Casper Pickleball and Sports Complex hosted its first ever wheelchair pickleball tournament including doubles and hybrid doubles.

“If you know anyone who can't play standing, tell them wheelchair pickleball exists and is growing!”
