Announcing our biggest giveaway EVER!
We’ve teamed up with Pickleball Central to giveaway not one, not two, but three Proton bundles to three lucky winners…
The Grand Prize Bundle includes:
Proton Series 3 Paddle
HEAD Motion Pro Shoes
100 pack engage tour outdoor balls
$50 gift card to erne
$50 gift card to Heritage
Plus, the two runner up prizes include a Proton Series 1 or 2 and two $25 gift cards to Pickleball Central’s Erne and Heritage apparel brands.
Proton paddles are the hottest paddle launch of the year. Maybe even bigger than the JOOLA Gen 3s…
These paddles have been out of stock for almost 4 months, they’re homegrown here in Phoenix. And trust me, you’ll never play with another paddle like it. Or, one that looks like it…
The paddle face feels smooth when you hit, and generates the best spin I’ve ever seen on a paddle. That’s because it uses a nano-tech material instead of raw carbon.
Pro Andrei Dăscui put Proton on the map by winning almost every APP tournament this year.
I even got a point against Andre at the Proton launch party last month in Phoenix 🙌
I expect the Protons to sell out pretty quickly on Pickleball Central so this giveaway is your chance to win a paddle everyone’s talking about – plus a bunch of other goodies.
Enter below, good luck! 👇

🤾♀️ Top 3 reasons you pop up dinks
Kyle, AKA, ThatPickleballGuy, is back once again with this week’s LevelUp tip!
Hey Pickleheads readers,
One of these 3 reasons is why you’re popping up your dinks, and, I guarantee you're doing #3!
#1 You’re standing too tall
If you’re standing tall, you’re not in an athletic position. You must bend over to hit balls rather than already being in position.
Aim to be lower than your opponent with your feet shoulder width apart. Ready.
#2 Your paddle grip is too tight
If your paddle grip is too tight when you’re hitting dinks the ball’s naturally going to ricochet off.
A looser grip will absorb the contact and give you a better ability to control the ball.
#3 Not taking (enough) balls out of the air
You need to stand strong at the kitchen line to give yourself the opportunity to take balls out of the air.
If you don’t hold your position and sporadically step back, your opponent can attack your feet and your only option is to pop the ball up.
Stand strong out there!
If you recognized you’re doing even one of these things in your own game, choosing one to work on will level up your game in just a few weeks.
Oh and did you know, there’s actually 7 reasons you’re popping up your dinks?
To find out the other 4 and how to stop doing them, watch my video!👇
🎮 Pickleball now has its own video game
Pickleball has officially entered the world of video games with the recent launch of PPA Pickleball Tour 2025, released last Wednesday.
The game features over 16 of the world's top pickleball players, while also allowing players to create their own character and participate in Career Mode or Quick Play
🏋️ The Workout Value: Pickleball vs other racquet sports
Ever wondered how playing pickleball measures up against other racquet sports when it comes to burning calories?
Find the answer here! Todd Boss, in this Forbes article, tests his energy expenditure playing pickleball and other racquet sports. The winner may surprise some of you…
🤑 Pickleball Rocks forced to sell inventory for liquidation
In the market for a new pickleball paddle… or maybe thousands of them? If so, you’re in luck.
Starting last Monday, Christy’s of Indiana is running an online auction of the entire inventory of the now-defunct business, Pickleball Rocks.

Pineapple Beach Club, Antigua
You’ll find this week’s dream courts at the Pineapple Beach Club, Antigua, in the Caribbean.
Believe it or not, The Pineapple Beach Club was one of the early-adopters of the sport when pickleball was something of a rarity in the Caribbean!
Pickleball, stunning sea views and tropical surroundings, what’s not to love? 🥰
The paddle to replace the JOOLA Gen 3?
Anyone else bummed the JOOLA Gen 3 paddles got banned?
I was. Love it or hate it… it was a fun paddle to play with.
Sooo I’ve been on the hunt for an alternative to the JOOLA Gen 3’s and I think I found one…
The Paddletek Bantam TKO-C.
They don’t hit as hard as the JOOLA’s did but they still hit like a rocket.
I remember one overhead I hit last week that about went into outer space.
And they give you much better all-court performance. They’re more forgiving and you can actually reset the ball which was hard with the JOOLA’s.
These paddles were designed for top pro Christian Alshon and they are BY FAR the best paddles Paddletek has ever made.
Bonus points for being made in the USA and not subject to the quality issues we’ve seen with other Gen 3 paddles.
The Bantam TKO-C’s are hot right now and I recommend them if you’re a rising intermediate who likes to play an aggressive, all-around game.
