Hey Pickleheads readers,

This week, I’m sharing my favorite third-shot, the Drop-Drive.

It has everything – control, finesse and power!

You see, when you drive your 3rd-shot with 100% power every time, you allow your opponent to hit balls quite comfortably around waist-to-chest height.

On the other hand, if you hit a drop, it allows your opponent to get closer to the kitchen. Which we don’t want either, right?

So, instead, play a drop-drive. Somewhere between a drive and a drop.

To do this, hit the ball at around 60% of your max speed with a compact swing.

With the drop-drive, the ball comes at your opponent quickly and low. Now they’re stranded in the transition zone 🙌

For an added bonus, after you hit your drop-drive crash into the kitchen to clean up any pop-ups.

Are titanium paddles the future?!

This might be the coolest paddle on the market right now…

Summer is in full flow!
