If youāve tried to buy a top paddle lately, youāll know⦠it hasnāt exactly been easy.
Over the past few months, some of the best paddles in the game have been quietly disappearing. Limited production runs, huge demand, and the pace of new releases have created a bit of a bottleneck. Blink, and theyāre gone.
Weāve seen it firsthand. Three of the paddles featured in our Best Pickleball Paddles guide have been out of stock for weeks⦠in some cases, months.
That changes this week š
The Bread & Butter Loco (our top intermediate pick) is back.
The Holbrook Fuze (our go-to for power) is available again.
And the Gherkin Draco (our favorite control paddle) is ready to ship.
Hereās the catch: it wonāt last.
Huge demand has seen each model sell in waves, creating a bit of a bottleneck. And once theyāre gone, youāre back to waiting lists or scrambling for alternatives.
So if youāve been holding off, this might be your window. Because if the last few months have shown us anything, itās this: the best paddles arenāt sticking around long.

Stoked to welcome back Tanner from Tanner Pickleball on YouTube for this weekās Level Up.
Hey Pickleheads readers,
If your forehand speed-ups fail you more often than not, this is probably why.
The biggest mistake most players make?
Hitting through the ball.
It looks powerful, but in reality, itās a gamble. Youāll either dump it into the net or send it flying long. Thereās very little control.
Hereās the fix.
Instead of slapping through the ball, think about brushing up and across it ā like a windshield wiper motion.
This small tweak does two big things:
Adds topspin (so the ball dips back in)
Keeps your speed-ups controlled and repeatable
Itās the difference between hoping it lands and knowing it will.
Once you feel it, your speed-ups stop being risky and start becoming a real weapon.
Watch Tanner break it down in less than 60 seconds š
