😎 Fast, furious, and flat-out fun
This week’s epic point is pure adrenaline – nonstop attacks, wild counters, and some seriously gritty defense.
But the real star? One player’s backhand. It’s ferocious, and they pull off one of the best counterattacks I've ever seen.
Fast, furious, and flat-out fun to watch.

🛹 Pickleball in a halfpipe?

Last week, at the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Center in Salt Lake City, pro players Connor Garnett and Allyce Wilson-Jones decided their usual court wasn’t wild enough…
…so they installed a court into a full-on skateboard halfpipe.
And somehow, it kinda worked? It was part fun stunt, part creative crossover, and part reminder that pickleball has no limits! They rallied off the walls, ripped dinks off the ramp, and served up a chaotic good time with skiers watching on.
I’m not saying it’s the future of rec play, but it does look like a lot of fun. Just maybe don’t try this at your local skatepark.

🏓 The PPA Tour has a new official ball
The LT Pro 48 is now the PPA Tour’s ball of choice, replacing the Dura.
Built to reduce cracks and deliver consistent bounce, it’s designed for pro-level speed without the mid-match meltdowns. Players have… opinions.
🥳 A pickleball birthday candle that spins, sparks & sings
This week, two Florida entrepreneurs launched the Pickleball Candle, a musical, spinning showstopper designed to light up birthdays, big wins, and post-game parties.

📖 Rom-com meets rec play in Pick Me
USA Today bestselling author Victoria Schade just dropped a new novel where love—and pickleball—get complicated.
Pick Me follows a recently dumped dog trainer who signs up for a local pickleball league… and maybe finds more than just a good partner.
