The 11SIX24 Vapor Power 2

Hey Pickleheads readers, Taylor here 👋

There are so many new paddles hitting the market, new technology, colorways, grips, weights, the list goes on. It can all get a little too much, right?

I believe what we're all looking for is a paddle that will grow with us. A paddle you can commit to and play with as a beginner through intermediate to advanced.

Turns out, I may have just found that paddle. The 11SIX24 Vapor Power 2.

I've just put it through eight hours of testing, including a semi-pro team tryout. Three hours in, the grip was locked, the spin was heavy, and I was controlling the court with a confidence I didn't see coming.

That's when it hit me. This paddle is for almost everyone. Newer players get something easy to control right out of the box. Intermediate players get an easy-to-customize paddle that keeps up as their game develops.

At $200, it's also $80 cheaper than the JOOLA Pro IV. And it holds its own.

If you’re looking for a paddle you can commit to and play with as you move from beginner to intermediate and advanced, the 11SIX24 Vapor Power 2 is the paddle for you.

🤾 Feel it. Fix it. Move forward.

Stoked to welcome back Kyle from That Pickleball School for this week’s Level Up.

Hey Pickleheads readers,

Picture this: you just missed a shot. Maybe it hit the net, maybe it sailed long. Frustration kicks in instantly.

But here’s the part most players overlook: you only have about 6–8 seconds before the next point starts. If you spend that entire time stewing over the miss, you’re wasting the small window you have to reset mentally.

I use a simple system called Feel, Fix, Forward.

First, Feel it. For a second or two, acknowledge the frustration. Ignoring it usually just lets it leak into the next point.

Second, Fix the decision. Ask yourself one question: Did I like the decision I made in that rally? Not the outcome, not the execution, the decision. If the answer is yes, stick with it next time. If not, decide what you’d do differently.

Finally, Forward. Take a breath, clear your mind, and focus on the next point.

The best players don’t calm down just to feel better. They do it so they can think clearly and make better decisions on the very next ball.

Watch me break it down in this week’s video 👇

Pickleball with a tropical upgrade. Tucked inside the sprawling Casa de Campo Resort, these bright blue courts sit surrounded by palms, sunshine, and that unmistakable Caribbean calm.

It’s the kind of place where morning rallies roll straight into poolside lounging or a beach run before lunch. Play a few games, soak up the heat, and remind yourself why pickleball and vacations go so well together.
