🫶 15% off our favorite up-and-coming paddle brand – this week only!

Taylor with the Warping Point Neon

In pickleball, Warping Point has quietly become the brand to watch!

We've now reviewed three of their paddles, and every single one has punched above its price. And this week I’m stoked to announce they're running a Spring Sale — 15% off sitewide until March 31.

I'd hurry, since stock is already flying off the shelves. Miss this window and I imagine you're waiting until the holidays for a deal this good.

Here's what we think of each one:

The Neon$100 $85 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our best budget pick in our best paddles guide, and our #1 pick on our best paddles under $100. And honestly, one of the best paddles Taylor has ever played with full stop. He even won a 5.0 tournament with it. The control is extraordinary, the sweet spot is huge, and at $85 with our discount it's an absolute no-brainer.

The Phoenix – $220 $190 ⭐⭐⭐⭐½
Co-developed with PPA pro Tina Pisnik — who just climbed to a career-high No. 5 in DUPR women's doubles this month. The spin is among the best Taylor has ever seen. Matt Wright also plays with the 16mm. That should tell you everything you need to know.

The Nightblade — $150 $130 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
An edgeless, aggressive paddle with a 5.8-inch handle built for 4.5+ players who want pace and pop without paying $250+. Not for beginners, but if you want fast hands and you like to attack, you'll love it.

Their Spring Sale runs March 25–31, while supplies last. Use our link and 15% will be auto-applied at checkout.

🤾 Where do you stand on the third shot?

Stoked to welcome back Tanner from Tanner Pickleball on YouTube for this week’s Level Up.

Hey Pickleheads readers,

If you’re ever unsure where to stand when your partner is hitting a third shot drop… you’re not alone. Most players get this wrong.

Typically, players do one of two things:

  1. They either stay level with their partner

  2. Or charge straight to the kitchen line.

Here’s the fix: The moment you see the return going to your partner, take two steps forward and stay locked in on their shot.

Now you’re reading, not guessing.

If the drop floats high, you can quickly drop back into defense. If it’s a quality, aggressive drop, you’ve already got a head start to move in and apply pressure.

That small adjustment changes everything. Instead of being reactive, you’re now positioning based on information, and that’s what better players do.

Get this right, and you’ll win more “free” points simply by being in the right place at the right time.

Dream Court of the Week image

🇲🇽 Esperanza, Los Cabos

Pickleball in Cabo, yes please!

Sun-baked courts, palms scattered around, and the Pacific sitting just beyond the resort – it’s got that laid-back Baja feel, and don’t get me started on that view.

It’s not overly polished, and that’s kind of the charm. You play, you sweat, you look up, and remember you’re in Cabo. Not a bad place to trade a few dinks, if you ask me.
