🚚 Meet the pickleball truck

Only in pickleball. South Florida’s Jonathan Threatt has turned a retired ambulance into a $30,000 bright-yellow “pickleball truck,” complete with $7,000 speakers blasting disco, and 300 branded balls he tosses out to anyone who follows him.

Threatt logs thousands of miles a year promoting Diadem Pickleball and drawing crowds from Las Olas to Key Largo. Waiters dance, traffic stops, and sometimes the cops even have to shut him down.

Pickleball’s grassroots culture keeps inventing new, sometimes wild ways to pull people in. The game is spreading because people make it fun.

🤭 Another new floating pickleball court!

Floating pickleball courts seem to be the new ‘in’ thang! Last week, Hyatt Regency in Renton unveiled their latest amenity…a floating pickleball court!

The best news is you don’t have to be a guest to use it. Locals and visitors to the area can book the court through Hyatt Regency’s website.
