š An audacious 'tweener!
This weekās epic point, sent in by Pickleheads subscriber Dan and featuring his friend Todd, is short, sharp, and unforgettable.
A lob looks like itās about to end the rally, until one player whips out an audacious ātweener to keep it alive and snatch the point.
Totally unexpected, totally filthy.

š° Pickleballās legal headachesā¦and bright future

Pickleballās boom isnāt all sunshine and dinks. This week alone, weāve seen flare-ups from Hillsborough County (FL), Apollo Beach, Boise (ID), Winter Park, and Mountain View ā all facing noise complaints, lawsuits, or community pushback over new courts.
And itās not just local grumbling. There are now over 200 lawsuits nationwide involving HOAs and municipalities tied to pickleball-related disputes. From residents claiming sleepless nights to full-blown legal battles, itās clear pickleball is ruffling feathers across the country.
(If youāre dealing with noise issues where you play, we recently tested the best quiet pickleball paddles ā some of them might just keep the peace.)
But hereās the other side of the coin: even as courts face opposition, pickleball-exclusive venues are popping up everywhere. Just this week, new spots were announced or launched in Brunswick, Greenbriar Park, Louisville, Olathe, Lynchburg (The Secret Pickle), Tampa Bay, and even a Pickleball Kingdom in New Jersey.
Hundreds of millions of dollars of investment and development for a brighter future.
So yes, the growing pains are real. But the sheer pace of new venues proves the future of pickleball is looking bright.
